PROGRAM: PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
No accounts, no analytics, no cookies. Here is exactly what happens to what you type.
The short version
PixelSERP does not collect, store or sell personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no cookies set by this site.
What you type into the tools is processed by JavaScript in your browser and never sent to a server, with one clearly marked exception described below.
What stays in your browser
The site remembers a few preferences using your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device and is not readable by anyone else:
- pixelserp-theme: which of the three themes you picked.
- pixelserp-sound: whether you switched the PC speaker sounds on.
- pixelserp-booted and pixelserp-typed: so the boot screen and typing animation only play once per visit.
- pixelserp-sw-cleaned: a one-time flag from a cleanup of an old service worker.
You can clear these at any time through your browser's site data settings. Nothing breaks if you do.
The one exception: fetch title and description
The SERP Simulator has an optional button that fills in a page's existing title and meta description for you. When you use it, the URL you entered (and only that URL) is sent to a small function running on this site's host, which requests that public page and returns its tags. The URL is not stored, logged by us or shared. If you never press the button, nothing is sent anywhere.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process standard connection data (such as IP address and request details) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not run any analytics on top of that and do not access visitor-level logs.
Fonts and scripts are self-hosted. The site makes no requests to third-party font, analytics or advertising services.
External links and changes
Links to other sites (for example X, LinkedIn or Cloudflare) are governed by those sites' own policies. This page will be updated if the site's behaviour changes; the effective date above is the date of the last change.
